Milestones in the company's history

2018 a year of setting the course for our company - number of employees increases by 20 percent

2018 will go down as an important year in the history of Fasihi GmbH. With the signing of a long-term contract with the chemical company BASF SE for the global use of the Fasihi Enterprise Portal and the related IT services, our company set an important milestone. The planned new company building in Ludwig-Reichling-Straße in the Technology Centre Ludwigshafen will create the conditions to meet the customers' requirements.

"We are very satisfied with the past year," says company founder and managing director Saeid Fasihi. Thanks to the good order situation, new employees were hired again in 2018. The number of employees increased by around 20 per cent from 75 at the end of 2017 to currently 90. The employees generated a turnover of 7.2 million euros. More IT specialists are being sought, especially Java programmers.

Sufficient workplaces will be available for the additional employees in the new company building, which is scheduled to be occupied in July 2019. "More than 100 employees will have modern workplaces on 2400 square metres to tackle the development of new and innovative projects," Fasihi is pleased to say. "In this way, we are well prepared to be able to meet the high demands of our customers in the future.

Rolf Lutzer appointed managing director

With the appointment of Rolf Lutzer as second managing director, the company reacted to the strong increase in turnover and employees last year. "Thanks to the excellent work of our employees, 2018 went very well again. The full satisfaction of both our customers and our employees is our priority. The course has been set for this," says Lutzer. "This also includes the establishment of the new 'App Development' department in the past year. The developers' ultimate goal is to develop apps for customers to use on smartphones and tablets to support their work."

Growth champion for the third time

In view of the company's development, it seems almost self-evident that Fasihi GmbH, after 2016 and 2017, is one of the 500 growth champions with the highest turnover growth in Germany for the third time, as determined by the news magazine FOCUS BUSINESS together with the data collection and statistics company Statista. In the sector "IT, Internet, Software and Services", Fasihi was the number one in Rhineland-Palatinate in terms of turnover and employees.

Social commitment with integration platform

In February 2018, BASF launched the online platform "alvivi", which bundles offers concerning the topic of integration in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. Within the scope of its social commitment, Fasihi GmbH provides the corresponding web platform on the basis of the Fasihi Enterprise Portal. Managing director Saeid Fasihi was also appointed commercial judge at the district court of Frankenthal.

Lifelong learning with the Fasihi Academy

The Fasihi GmbH invested and still invests a lot of time in the further training of its employees. In the company-owned Fasihi Academy, new employees are intensively prepared for their future tasks. Long-standing employees are also regularly trained. "This continuous training is indispensable for the further development of our company. Only if we are always up to date with the latest IT technology and pass this knowledge on to our customers, we will be successful on the market in the long run", Rolf Lutzer is convinced.

The Fasihi Academy also takes care of this: customers from different sectors are primarily trained in the handling of the approximately 70 portal solutions with which more than 80,000 users work. In most cases, information and communication processes are digitally presented with the help of these portals in the context of Industry 4.0.
