Fasihi GmbH nominated for Grand Prize for SMEs for sixth time in a row

The Ministry for Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of the Rhineland- Palatinate has nominated our company for the „Grand Prize for SMEs for the sixth time in a row. Already the nomination for this nationawide competition  qualifiies a company to belong to Germany's entrepreneurial elite.

Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry  for Economy again nominates our company for nationwide competition

We received further nominations by br business relations GmbH in Heidelberg, HEGAS Vermögensverwaltungs KG in Mayen (a financial management company), Wirtschaftsmagnet GmbH (Business Magnet GmbH) in Lindau and WISSENSBILANZ-DEUTSCHLAND  (Intellectual Capital Statement Germany) in Bremen. As we already were a prize  winner in the past, we have now been nominated for the award of the "Premier".

In 2014, our company was honoured with the Grand Prize for SMEs at a gala event in Düsseldorf. Thus, we belonged to the Top Companies in Germany and held the Number 1 Position in Rhineland-Palatinate.

In 2016, we received the Badge of Honour for the nationwide competition, which was conferred to us by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation in October 2016. As a result, we belonged to the Top 25 medium-sized enterprises among the 4791 ones nominated from all over Germany.

Criteria for the nomination of the Grand Prize for SMEs are the overall development of a company, the procurement and safeguarding of jobs and voacational education, the comany's strategic orientation regarding modernisation and innovation, its commitment in the region as well as the service they provide, its closeness to their customers and its marketing strategy.

This nationwide business award is bestowed on companies once a year by the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation in Leipzig. According to the organiser, only those companies will be nominated steering their course with an emphasis on strong values, a clear strategy and high flexibility. In some cases these companies have gained experience over several generations in mastering numerous crises and structural upheavals through their major innovation strength. These companies care for the people they work with and stabilise their region.

The prize is intended to improve the image of small and medium-sized companies in public, to raise public awareness regarding the relationship between a "healthy Mittelstand - strong economy - more jobs", the popularisation of success stories and the promotion of networking in medium-sized companies.

Business Elite in Germany

Already its nomination for the competition qualifies a company, in a clearly recognisable way, to be part of an elite in Germany. However, the competition does not explicitly ask for business results, employment or innovation key figures, but it rates a company as to its responsibility towards society. About only one among a thousand companies in Germany will be nominated for the competition, writes the Oskar Patzelt Foundation on their website.
